Hi, I’m Michelle! I’ve struggled to get an ‘About Me’ up on this blog for a good while now, but here goes…
I am a twenty-nine year old lady living in the ‘burbs of a big city in Texas, with my husband, Kevin, our miracle #ivfbaby and three rambunctious furbabies (Harley, Gracie and Dusty). I graduated with my MA in Counseling (2015) but have chosen to live the stay at home mama life for now. Some of my favorite things are writing, reading, talking, makeup & beauty things, social media and technology. So, you’ll be hearing about all of the above, and more.
Jesus is the center of my life and my marriage. I love having the opportunity to grow in my relationship with the Lord, and enjoy sharing that with others. Please respect my thoughts, feelings, and beliefs, because I will always respect yours.
Kevin and I were married on 12-13-14 and while the past four years have been amazing, they have also been a rollercoaster. We experienced two pregnancy losses in 2015 which led us to pursuing fertility treatments + IVF. We were blessed to welcome our first son (Wyatt) into the world in October 2016. Unfortunately, we also experienced 2 miscarriages when #ttc baby number 2, one of which was an IVF pregnancy. As a result of these experiences, my faith, and my love of people, I am on a quest to spread awareness and open up a dialogue about pregnancy and infant loss. Much of what I blog about will include this topic. I am very open about my experiences and welcome any and all questions, so please don’t hesitate to email, comment, or reach out via social media.
Lastly, I am very fluent in sarcasm and try to find humor in any situation that I can. Keep that in mind as you read my posts, sometimes it may be hard to tell when I’m kidding…so try not to take offense!
This blog is my attempt to find bliss in life, even when that seems impossible, because I believe there can be joy in everything. I hope this gives you a glimpse into who I am and what I’m all about. As I mentioned before, I am all about the social media, so please reach out if you have any questions, comments or concerns!
