Well, clearly I went MIA again. So many things have happened and this third trimester has just been flying by! I want to do a proper post on my beautiful baby shower(s), so hopefully I get around to doing that soon. For now, here is a much needed pregnancy update! How far along: 35 weeks, 2 days. So close!

Gender: Boy!

Weight gain: Somewhere around 13 lbs. I don’t know how it’s happened, since I feel so big, but I’m just counting it as a blessing!

Maternity clothes: Most definitely. Nothing else fits!

Stretch marks: Only a few on my left thigh, nothing too bad and I’m not too worried about it. I’ve been using stretch mark cream about 4-5 times a week (sometimes I forget and sometimes I just don’t feel like applying it), but I’m convinced it’s just genetic. No big deal!

Belly button in or out: In, but it is so weird looking! Don’t think it’ll pop out at all.

Sleep: I wake up about every hour to reposition myself and/or go to the bathroom. I’m used to it by now! I also feel very sore all over when I wake up in the morning. I’m sure some of that is because of the 50 lb. and 20 lb. dogs that sleep on top of me!

Best moment this week: Another beautiful baby shower! And finding out I’m already starting to progress towards labor! As of last Wednesday, I am 1cm dilated and 50% effaced.

Worst moment this week: The only thing that I don’t enjoy is getting full so quickly and feeling out of breath. Other than that, I really do love being pregnant.

Miss anything: CFA Lemonade!

Movement: Lots of it! I love feeling every little roll, hiccup, and kick! It’s the best feeling in the world.

Cravings: Burritos!

Queasy or sick: A few times in the morning, probably because I was just hungry.

There you have it! I plan to get the last home organization projects done this week so that I can just relax from 36 weeks on. I will write more soon!
