Another week down, time for a check-in! Really trying to stick to my new Tuesday/Thursday blog post schedule, so even though this one is a little late, I’m getting better.
How far along: Twenty weeks, 3 days. Halfway there!
Weight gain: Not sure, guessing around 4-5 lbs, but I try not to weigh myself. Otherwise, I obsess over whether it’s enough…
Maternity clothes: Yes, I even went and bought a maternity swim suit.
Stretch marks: None, yet. I was having a lot of issues with the Palmer’s Cocoa Butter not absorbing into my skin until I applied it straight out of the shower, so I’m alternating between that and the Burt’s Bees Mama Bee Belly Butter. So far, so good.
Belly button in or out: In.
Sleep: I would probably sleep better sans two dogs, especially when a certain Doberman likes to sleep in my back. So, overall, sleep isn’t as enjoyable these days.
Best moment this week: Wearing my maternity swimsuit and looking pregnant. I love looking pregnant, at least for now!
Worst moment this week: Every time we get closer to doctor’s appointment’s I get anxious. I know it’s because of our past experiences, but I hate getting so stressed out and feeling negative.
Miss anything: Still nothing.
Movement: Still feeling *things* that I’m pretty confident are the baby, but it isn’t anything super obvious yet. I can’t wait until I know 100% that it’s him, instead of second guessing myself.
Cravings: Chicken tenders, milk shakes, cookies, and water.
Queasy or sick: Randomly feel queasy sometimes, but nothing to complain about.
Looking forward to: Our anatomy scan on Thursday! Can’t wait to see his little face again and see how much bigger he’s gotten.
